WhiteStar FC form partnership with Beverley Leisure Complex to drive
development of local community football 21st February 2008 We are very proud to announce that Beverley WhiteStar Football Club have entered a formal partnership with the Beverley Leisure Complex. The purpose of this partnership is to support the development of mini-soccer, girls football, disability football and 11-a-side football within Beverley WhiteStar and Beverley. Some examples of the activities that will commence over the coming months include starting to establish a mini-soccer base at the Beverley Leisure Complex, running girls football sessions at selected local primary schools and bringing a local disability football group under our banner. The support that we will receive from the Beverley Leisure Complex includes use of pitches and changing facilities at the Complex, running of girls football sessions, support from qualified coaches and support with obtaining grants. To avoid any confusion, this will not in anyway be at the expense of the existing teams, nor does it allow us unrestricted use of the facilities of the Beverley Leisure Complex. A working party comprising personnel from both sides will oversee the partnership and keep the rest of the Club informed of progress. We are very excited by this momentous agreement and the opportunity that this partnership provides for Beverley WhiteStar FC to develop further as a Community Football Club, and we look forward to your support in building this partnership. Further details of the partnership can be found on the Beverley WhiteStar website, but if you have any questions, please contact your Manager, or the Chairman, Rod Hulme, Secretary, Terry Fulton or one of the team managers – details can be found on the ‘contact us’ page of the website.
