MYTON U-15 LEAGUE 2011-2012
Sunday
4th December 2011 Beverley
Whitestar Bulldogs 6 – 2 Bulldogs
bagged another three points with a
good all round team performance. Bulldogs
dominated the opening stages of the match but Kingsbury did look
dangerous on the break. The home team got their noses in front following
a corner which Declan Corlyon volleyed home. Kingsbury then settled and
Bulldogs found it difficult to break them down.
As in recent weeks Bulldogs had lots of chances but didn't seem
to have the killer instinct in front of goal.
This gave Kingsbury hope and they did move the ball about well
but their finishing let them down as well in the first half. With
five minutes remaining before the break Bulldogs got their second
through new signing Jordan Lowe. Half-Time
:- 2-0 Bulldogs
kept up the pressure in the second half and Nathan Dodsworth was back to
his best firing home a cracking shot from just outside the box to
put Bulldogs three goals up. Shortly
after Lewis Cunningham nipped in to slot in number four and Bulldogs
should have been home and dry. However,
Kingsbury had other ideas and got themselves back into the match with
two goals in a minute after slack play in the Bulldogs midfield.
Bulldogs managed to pull themselves together and scored another
two goals through Ed Long and Jordan Day to give them a comfortable
victory in the end. Adam
Williamson was man of the match for Bulldogs. Full-Time:-
6-2 Bulldogs
